2) Walk, carpool, or take the bus to school.
Less carbon emissions and less smog comes from less burned fuel. We have to use gasoline to run most of today's cars - so, let's use as little of it as we can! When you share a ride with others, it means fewer people have to use gas, and when you walk or bike there is no fuel burned at all...except maybe your breakfast
3) Turn off the water while showering and brushing teeth. Most people let the water run while soaping up or brushing, but that wastes water. Run the water to get your towel and body or toothbrush wet, and then wash or brush with the water off. It saves water AND time because you end up focusing on getting clean and getting out of there!

- Expose the students about water pollution in the certain type of water.
- Encourage the students about the important of clean water for our life.
- Record the time taken for methylene blue solution to decolourise by using a stopwatch

Puan Azizah watching all scientist do their work
- Rapid decolourisation of the methylene blue show that the water has very little oxygen . Hence the B.OD. value of the water sample is high
- Slow decolourisation of the methynele blue shows that the B.O.D value is low and the water is the least polluted

Behind the beauty products
Beauty products contain varying degrees of synthetic and chemical ingredients that, through their manufacture or disposal, can end up as pollutantsin our environment. Reports at the US National Library of Medicine highlight the presence of potential reproductive or developmental toxicants, particularly phthalates, in cosmetics and personal care products.
Mineral oils, moisturisers, baby oils, tanning oils and lip products are are by-products of the highly polluting oil-refining process. As most beauty products are packaged to attract consumers, that means there will be you sometimes get unnecessary layesr of wasteful packaging and materials.
Green products should meet green standards at every stage, from growth, through manufacturing, the energy used for processing, right down to how the productsare stored and packaged.
For lip balm, for instance, swithc to products that combine bees wax with plants oil and nut butter. Shea butter, cocoa Butter and coconut oil all coat the skin and seal in moisture as well as petrolatum, while sunflower oils smooth out balms testure and leave lips slightly glossy.
All of this pollutants can cause harm to our environment. So next time make sure you investigate the products before you buy. Together we save the environment by using non-pollutants product ^.^
