Puisi dan lagu

Last week, on 26th Mei 2011 our school sent a group to compete in Pertandingan Puisi Dan Lagu Sekolah-Sekolah Peringkat Negeri 2011 at Taman Budaya, Jalan Tun H.S Lee, Kuala Lumpur. Our team use flora and fauna as the the main of the lyrics in their songs. Our school manage to get first place in the competition. They will compete at Sarawak for the national stage. Rumpun Setia

Saling berpaut pada rumpun setia

makin tunduk makin berisi

berakar kita mencengkam erat

menjalar di bumi berselirat serasi

merekahi tanah ini

kulit menterjemah isi

isi membayangi bumi

bumi jejaki insan

teguh berdiri memasaki bumi

biar angin gelisah melanda

biar ribut bertelingkah

namun damai tetap menghijau

Berbenih bakti tanpa henti

tetap menguning di bendang kita

walau berbaja lumpur hanyir

walau lalang tinggi menjulang

jasamu terpahat baktimu tersemat
